To ensure that your compost is processed without any odors, soilkind uses a multi-stage activated carbon filter. Depending on how often you make compost and what food scraps you put in it, we recommend that you change the activated carbon in your soilkind cartridge every 3 to 6 months.
Make sure that the activated carbon cartridge is filled and assembled correctly.
Make sure the sealing screen is firmly in place and free of activated carbon pellets, as these may otherwise impair ventilation.
